Here is a extremely rare & original lapel badge to the Auxilliary Home Guard; sadly, there is some enamel damage but cold be repaired if someone knows a good enameller. This unit was formed as the Home Guard equivalent of the SAS; their job was, in the case of invasion to become a guerilla unit for espionage,etc. The unit was made up of poachers, game-keepers, older men with special qualifications like explosives. This unit was disbanded after D Day 1944.
